From the moment we arrived to the moment we left the experience was superb. beautiful and the pathways down to the water breathtaking. We did not see the house itself. Our 17th-century hotel is in the unspoiled Cotswold village of Upper Slaughter, between Bourton-on-the-Water and Stow-on-the-Wold. We had a manor room which was very well appointed. At Lower Slaughter cross the river bridge and continue along this road. The food was good and walks nearby are excellent.
