It was kind of a lousy sequel to Chrono Trigger. In RPGs it's common for characters to come back from the brink of death several times per battle thanks to healing magic or items, leading to really long, yet quite easy and repetitive battles.
I really want another entry into the Chrono series. For many fans of Chrono Trigger, Chrono Cross was a bit of a shock. So at the end of all of this, what can we say about Chrono Cross? While Trigger's characters were all very distinct and memorable, Cross's are generic and forgettable.

Another really cool thing is that many of the playable characters who join your party throughout the game can eventually be brought to the other dimension to meet themselves, which leads to some amusing dialogue.
